Healthcare Reimagined

Located on the east side of beautiful Hot Springs, Village, Arkansas , our clinic offers an age-friendly environment for both primary care and walk-in services. Our philosophy is to provide personalized healthcare with an emphasis on healthy aging. By 2030, more people in the United States will be over 65, than under 5 years of age. Our healthcare system must adapt to this growing population and much thought has been given by the government and the medical community.

Policy changes to Medicare and Medicaid after the COVID-19 pandemic, have increased access to tele-health services which have documented success at improving patient health outcomes. With the growth of tele-health services, technology must be adapted to the needs and capability of all older patients. This includes increasing patient and caregiver access to the electronic health record. Access to teleconferencing services such as Zoom and FaceTime, have been shown to reduce isolation and to improve mobility and mood. Technology can improve workflow in the healthcare setting, allowing Healthcare workers to focus on tasks that require a human touch.

Our electronic medical record, (EMR) platform is called Elation. It allows us to be an independent medical practice offering high-quality patient care. It offers full access, including teleconferencing, and messaging through the Elation passport portal.

Services

Internists are experts in adult medicine and care for the whole patient. They solve problems with chronic and multiple illnesses no matter how simple or complex. Of all primary care physicians, the “doctors of internal medicine” (also called “internists”) are unique in their focus on adult medicine. They bring to patients an understanding of wellness (disease prevention and the promotion of health), women’s health, substance abuse, mental health, as well as effective treatment of common problems of the eyes, ears, skin, nervous and musculoskeletal systems and reproductive organs. They are specially trained to solve complicated diagnostic problems. They handle severe chronic illnesses and situations where several different illnesses may strike at the same time.
